Join the Dots today announced the promotion of talent strategy director, Aimee Welsh, to the company’s leadership team. Welsh has worked at the consumer insight agency for 11 years, with an impressive research career spanning SRE to RD, before becoming head of the talent team in 2017.
Welsh’s move to the leadership team marks a new chapter for Join the Dots, who have undertaken an internal restructure, following years of rapid growth that has seen their employee count reach over 150 people across three locations. Welsh’s promotion to the leadership team, who completed a management buyout of the company in May 2017, is a strategic move to ensure that staff recruitment, motivation, development and wellbeing remain an integral part of the organisation’s future plans.
The newly restructured research teams at Join the Dots focus on two divisions, led by Andy Cumming and Adele Mann, who will focus on harnessing and growing sector specialisms. This has also triggered the appointment of seven commercial directors, who are tasked with driving commercial, client-centric insight across sectors.

Join the Dots have welcomed seven new starters since the beginning of the year including research director, Ellie Osborne, and research manager, Lauren Hall. They have also taken on a fifth wave of recruits for their MRS-approved graduate development programme.
