Reckner, owner of The Institute for Sensory Research (ISR) and Reckner Facilities, has opened a state-of-the-art sensory and product testing facility in Harrison, New York, about 45 minutes northeast of Manhattan.
This sensory and product testing facility is a substantial upgrade to its former facility in a nearby location. Located at 450 Mamaroneck Avenue in the heart of major business complex, the new facility has 12 ASTM-standard, personal and home care booths and 23 ASTM-standard, food and beverage booths, both with individual pass-through openings to the product preparation areas. Each booth is equipped with a touchpad for immediately-tabulated responses. In addition to specialized sensory capabilities, the facility supports focus groups and product testing with a commercial test kitchen, multi-purpose room, and focus group room.

The Institute for Sensory Research, established in 2000, offers full-service sensory research and sensory panel services, such as client-site panel training and management. ISR also manages its own trained, sensory panels at this location which are available for any sensory project.
Reckner Facilities, established in 1991, manages focus group and product testing facilities in the Milwaukee, Philadelphia and New York City MSAs. The company provides recruiting, project management, execution for central location tests, and data processing services for its clients.
